Homespun Snowman

Just a quick post today. I am in the middle of TRYING to clean my house for all the company that will be here tomorrow. You know how that goes!

Plus, I am bound and determined to get all the orders out in the mail today from the huge sale in the store. I want all my wonderful customers to get their goodies on Friday or Saturday and not have to wait until Monday. I hate waiting.

Stamps: Waltzing Mouse
Papers: Bazzill, Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses
Inks: Memento
Accessories: Spellbinders Fancy labels, Petaloo snowflakes, buttons, Bazzill holly, rhinestone

Off I go to see what DH is up to with the intent of being "helpful."

Have a great Thanksgiving, everyone (but do come back tomorrow - it's my turn up on the store blog and I have a project I worked on for a long time to show you!)

Christmas Wishes

See, I promised. Here is another new stamp set that I am having a blast with. Have you ever heard of Watzingmouse Stamps? Claire is a delightful artist living in one of my very favorite parts of Ireland - Antrim - and she started her own stamp company. It has become a fabulous success and I keep stalking her because I want to add her stamps to Paper Maniac. They are wonderful, high-quality, crystal-clear polymer sets that she absolutely crams with omages. I recently blew the grocery budget and bought five sets, and I am so glad I did. I am having so mouch fun mixing and matching them. You will be seeing lots of samples here, I can assure you!

Today's is really a pretty simple card that uses Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly, and some wonderful chenille trim from Webster's pages. I found that plastic snowflake charm in my stash and it seemed the perfect embellie to tie onto the ornament.

Off I go to start cleaning. We are hosting Thanksgiving here at our house and I am not sure how long it has been since the house received a thorough cleaning, but I am sure i would be terribly embarassed if anyone found out.

Stamps: Waltzing Mouse Stamps
Papers: Paper Trey Ink, Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly
Inks: Memento, Copic Markers
Accessories: Webster's Pages crocheted trims, buttons, gold cord, snowflake, stitching

Vintage Santa

Are you getting tired of the Artistic Outpost Snowy Woods set yet? Well, this is the last of the group of cards I stamped with it.
The weather sure is turning colder, so after the second warmest November, after the third COLDEST October, it looks like the weather around here may becoming seasonal. Then again, nobody really knows until it actually happens.
Enjoy your weekend, and I hope you get to do a little stamping.

Stamps: Artistic Outpost
Papers: Paper trey Ink, Basic Grey, stash, Bazzill gold
Inks: Memento rich cocoa
Accessories: rhinestones, crocheted trim, bazzill holly, rhinestones

Snow

Happy, happy, joy, joy! What fun these snow people seem to be having! This is another Northwoods stamp, and as always, so much fun to color. You can't really tell from the photo, but to add a little texture, I used Our Craft lunge's Sparkly Stuff with a wee bit of blue glitter mixed in to fill in the letters.
The blue cardstock is Bazzill glazed, and it adds such a nice texture and a little bit of extra shine.
Stamp: Northwoods Snow
Papers: Bazzill, Elan Metallic, Neenah
Ink: Memento, Copic markers
Accessories: Daisy D Rub-on and chipboard oval, Petaloo snowflakes; OCL Sparkly Stuff; Kaisercraft rhinestones

First the blog candy winner. Since there was only one comment, picking the winner was easy! Congratulations, Emily. I will send you a $15.00 gift certificate to the store.

Here is another card from the Artistic Outpost "Snowy Woods" sheet. Let me tell you, there are so many great images there, you can make ALL of your cards with this stamp set and still have lots of variety. This card was a really, really quick one to put together.

Holly Sprig

Good morning, everyone! I am pretty excited because unless my calendar is wrong, today is the release day for the new Our Craft Lounge stamp sets. I am going to go check out their blog hop as soon as I finish here. Paper Maniac will be carrying the new sets, and they are really cute!

Today's card is based on SC254. It appears I am a week behind, but my intentions are good! The image is Northwoods Holly and Berry Swag. Remember, all wood-mounted stamps are on sale at a 15% savings this week. The image was stamped on Neenah solar white with Memento black and colored with Copics. The background is Copic B32 pounced on with an old washcloth. The cardstock is Paper Trey Ink and the designer paper is Eskimo Kisses from Basic Grey. I found that sparkly gold holly sticker in my left-overs from last year. It is from Martha Stewart.

Remember, you have a few more hours to leave a comment on my previous post to win a $15.00 gift certificate to Paper Maniac. Winner announced tomorrow!

Wise Men

I was experimenting with a night sky and I wanted something different, so I colored the sky with violet Copics and detailed the stars with Copic opaque white. The large star is Smooch gold lame. The image itself is "Wisemen in Frame" from Northwoods and it, like all wood-mouned stamps, is on sale this week. The sentiment is from Flourishes. The card is Bazzill and the designer paper is from my stash and I am not sure of its origin. I think it may be memory Box, but not sure. The great embroidered trim is from Webster's Pages. I am really loving all of their vintage trims.

I feel like giving out a gift certificate. If you stop by today or Wednesday, leave a comment and let me know. I will choose (well random.org will choose) someone to win a $15.00 gift certificate to Paper Maniac. I will announce the winner Thursday.
